Google and other tech giants joined together last October to create tToday, Google announced that they're going to make it easy to find AMP webpages in relevant mobile search results, giving you a lightning-fast reading experience for top stories.
Much like Facebook's Instant Articles initiative, AMP is solely available to those on mobile devices. However, Google is open to other platforms; Twitter and LinkedIn have signed on to the project. Google also doesn’t host the content directly – whereas Facebook does.
