StacheTATS arose from a ridiculous, hungover idea by a guy named Arthur Jaffee who, at the time, was only one day out of college. We saw an opportunity with the product and found that Shopify provided all the tools to start selling online, quickly and without any web design experience required.

How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?

Our first sales came from our Shopify website after handing out samples of our product at a football game. After that, our product began to spread by word of mouth.

Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?

While Shopify has really helped us brand StacheTATS beautifully, behind the scenes, there is a lot that goes on to get the product from point A to point B.

We started out of a friends living room packaging and fulfilling orders, but since then, have moved to a warehouse based in Tempe, AZ with 3 full time employees that process orders and fulfill shipments using information sent from Shopify and LettuceApps.

What are your top recommendations for new ecommerce entrepreneurs?

Not only has Shopify been our online store front and the face of our brand, it's been an excellent resource for our sales process into retail stores. We make money from the sales that take place through our Shopify site, and frequently use the site as an important reference guide when making larger bulk sales face to face. When meeting with buyers of large retail chains, what's the first thing they looked at in their decision process? Yep, you guessed it. our website built on Shopify. It's not just a store front, but a way to represent your company to larger wholesale opportunities. We're closing in on one million dollars in sales since inception and it all started with Shopify.
